COMPLAINT AGAINST CFE FILED BEFORE PROFECO FOR POOR SERVICE

A knock on the door… it’s the organized citizens who are raising their voices, as they have been suffering from power outages for days at their respective homes, homes which due to the pandemic are also their place of work or study, let’s remember that students from different grades have not been able to return to school.

From different parts of the city, beach residents contacted the Solidaridad City Hall to file a collective complaint against the Federal Electricity Commission (Comisión Federal de Electricidad). After sit-ins on busy avenues, they decided to move downtown, and arrived at the offices of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).

Tired of long days without an effective response from the State, about twenty inhabitants of Misión de las Flores, Villas del Sol and Xcacel, were supported by the Direction of Contentious Affairs; they wrote the official letter and described how badly they have been treated by the State.

Tired of long days without an effective response from the State, about twenty inhabitants of Mision de las Flores, Villas del Sol and Xcacel, were supported by the Directorate of Contentious Affairs; they wrote the official letter and described how bad the situation has been during these days, along with their dissatisfaction with the company’s service.

And the sorrow is especially felt by the merchants, who is going to pay them for the loss of the products that spoiled in their stores, in their homes? What about the wastage of medicines or appliances that have already broken down?

The explosion of one of the electric transformers in Villas del Sol was added to the eyes of the population, and although it was repaired moments later, the problems due to the absence of electricity continue in different parts of the city.
