France bets on Mexico to accelerate the ecological transition

From a virtual room, the digital diplomacy of the authorities of France and Mexico is made present, to merge in a future-oriented dialogue to strengthen the bilateral relationship, identify opportunities, and increase economic cooperation on sustainable development issues.

The energy reforms being carried out by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador are of concern to the new ambassador of the European Union in Mexico, Gautier Mignot; the officials agreed that, as they have such a close, dynamic and complementary relationship, they will seek commercial alliances. The dialogue was sealed with the signing of a memorandum of understanding to accelerate the green transition of public finances.

This is a French-sponsored technical cooperation on green finance and sustainable development, in which Mexico is committed to prioritizing its battle against climate change, and discusses new business opportunities with the European Union that will benefit Mexicans.

France is Mexico’s fourth largest trading partner in the European Union bloc, with four million 686 billion dollars traded, so it is expected that these talks will result in projects that will have an impact on trade and capital flows, which in turn will have an impact on a better future for all.
