 The artistic rite: Vibrant Culture in Mexico

The extensive consideration for the sacred, the preference and priority for the values derived from this, and the adulation for all that we are extending are the main reasons for thousands of rites every single year in Mexico. 

The miscegenation, the fusion, union or sincretism between symbolic or cultural consumption make the communities create an identity growing in their reflective perspectives.

Temples, prayings, dances, masses, clothing, different tools, magical objects and ornaments, are the pieces of that puzzle that is our spiritual map. Over that eschatological summit we are aware of  the oblation experience which is a blend of belief, glory, failure, solemnity, guilt, exaltation and introspection, making honor of the unknown and the suspect through felt ceremonies.

Mexico appears as a prism of rites where the light decomposes on tonalities backing up faith and the significance of things . A country full of smells, tastings and the breathing energy when the Will embrace the Spirit.

In the Mayan Riviera, the “cenotes” (natural wells) are the entrance gates related between them, are cavities that, for its symbolic production, represent the underworld; there where the consciousness faces its dismal and lucid aspects, there where the internal human life as the natural external have no difference . For the mayan culture there are three types of worlds: celestial, terrestrial and subterranean (cenotes-natural wells), all of them suppose the “Totality”where the animated beings find delectable mystery and respect for the “inexplicable” , it is when the words do not drain the acquired memory garbage or reborn what the soul demands, when the consecutive logical thought can not involved the meanings of what diverse realities give. This is how mayan people have been a unique enclave to discern the “holiness” that mankind nourishes when observes and feels.
